Active Aggies are Healthy Aggies

NMSU’s Recreation Center enhances the NMSU experience by providing programs, services and facilities that promote healthy lifestyles, build community and enable student success. NMSU Rec Sports offers a variety of recreation, fitness and sport opportunities that include aquatics, intramurals, group fitness, personal training, outdoor and instructional classes.

Get involved and get AggieFit!  As a full-time NMSU student, you are already a member of AggieFit. All full-time students who have paid the appropriate fees through their tuition have access to NMSU Rec Sports facilities by simply showing their NMSU ID card. Part-time students may utilize the facilities and programs by purchasing the membership for a fee of $40/semester.

    Climbing Series Competition 6

    The NMSU Climbing Series is a collection of 6 competitions spread throughout the fall and spring semesters. Compete with other students or push yourself to new heights with boulder problems specially set for each competition!

    First Aid/CPR/AED Course

    09:00 AM - 01:00 PM

    The First Aid/CPR/AED course gives individuals the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize and provide basic care for breathing and cardiac emergencies, injuries and sudden illnesses. Students will also learn how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED) for victims of sudden cardiac arrest.

    Cost: $75.00 (All costs are due at registration)

    Recertification Cost: $25.00

    Location: NMSU Activity Center

    Registration begins one month prior at the NMSU Aquatic Center.
