Outlaws have great performances in their first meet.
On September 24, 2012, Aggie Outlaws competed in their first meet of the Fall season, the Pecan Classic Swim Meet, held at the NMSU Aquatic Center. Held over the course of three days, the team had 25 swimmers compete in the meet, with over half of them competing in a swim meet for the very first time. Joel Dubois had an outstanding performance in his first ever 200 yard freestyle event, which qualified him for NM State Swimming Championships. Wyley Pedroncelli contributed to the Outlaw’s success by earning a AA time standard in the 50 yardfreestyle.Although relatively new to competitive swimming, and swimming the events for the very first time, the Outlaw 6 and under age group had great swims with Hannah Chen placing 2nd in the 50 free, Sydney Clark placing 4th, and Ryley Clark placing 5th. Rilyn Garcia finished off the meet by placing 2nd in the 100 yard freestyle. The Aggie Outlaws look forward to continue their progress throughout the rest of the season. The next tentative meet they will be attending is the Lobo Invite on November 9-11, 2012 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Keep up the great work Outlaws!
